Description
Another gentle giant theme.Basically just trying to show a victorious celebration after battle where everyone is elated except for this one compassionate beast. The subject is basically the giant being devastated because he couldn't protect his friend.
This one really took a while because of the amount of detail in every figure. I wish I could post a larger file, sorry.
Hope you like it and I'd love any comments you might have.
Thanks for looking!

I think you did great here

You did a good job with this one. Maybe too many grayish colours to catch instant interest, but the figures look good.

The dead guy is kinda hard to notice, though; I wouldn't have seen him at all if the description didn't cause me to look for him. I would suggest bringing out the dead guy and his friend a little more, perhaps by using more contrast. The light seems pretty strong, judging from the visibility of the rays, so why not stronger contrast?

one little remark: i agree with keiiii: the guy in his hand is hard to notice and his arm seems too long compared to his head... maybe just imo

Here we have a new great painting of yours.
(Your painting "Life?" is one of my favorite paintings ever, just wanted to let you know.)
I find it very amazing how you painted the skin here and how great work you did on the background

but what iritated me:
the figure in the hand of the giant.
its like parts are missing or in wrong perspective.
the arm is far too big and long for the person in hand.
at least i think so.

However.....I think all these will be resolved as you grow as an artist and all your works have the look of a serious talent in the making. Your composition is good and I love your colour palette and for all the minor crits this (like all your postings) is still a painting that invites the viewer back for repeated viewings...well done!
